Welcome to the Combat arena. Select an opponent to fight with by clicking on Attack.
Rush to Attack if you want to enter the fight with randomly selected abilities, familiars and weapons.
Strategize if you want to enter the fight with customized abilities.
Fight your way to fame by winning and achieve a high Combat Mastery Level.


Access Combat under the Fight tab.
Select an opponent from the Combat lobby. You can then select how you would like to prepare for the fight.


Find a list of opponent that you can select to fight and click on Attack to start fight.


Plan our fight.

1. Rush To Attack
Takes you to your fight directly.
This will randomly select abilities, familiars and crew that you will use in the fight.

2. Strategize
Lets you select your Powers before the fight.
This will allow you to customize which abilities, familiars and crew you use in the fight.
Your abilities, familiars and crew all contribute to your attack and defense stats, which determine the amount of damage you can do to your opponent. Choose wisely.



Abilities give you offensive, defensive or movement stats. There are three types of abilities:
1. Offensive Ability - This type of ability has high attack stats and increases the damage you can do.
2. Defensive Ability - This type of ability has high defense stats and decreases the damage you can sustain.
3. Movement Ability - This type of ability has near equal attack and defense stats and balances your stats out.





Familiars increase your energy stats, and can increase the damage you cause.
Battle arms are weapons that can be used in combat. You can select one battle arm to use in each fight.

Hunting Knife 10 Attack 0 Defense (5fp)

Fighting Staff 14 Attack 0 Defense (7fp)

Silver Spear 20 Attack 0 Defense (10fp)

Ornate Broadsword 30 Attack 0 Defense (15fp)

Flintlock Pistol 10 Attack 0 Defense (5fp)

Viking Axe 14 Attack 0 Defense (7fp)

Shadow Flail 20 Attack 0 Defense (10fp)

Full Metal Crossbow 30 Attack 0 Defense (15fp)

These Battle Arms are found in random Mission drops or can be purchased with Favor points.

Crew members increase your attack, defense or movement stats. You can either select your clan members or purchase crew. There are three types of crew members:
1. Flayer - A Flayer provides additional damage with every attack.

Flayer 137 Attack 39 Defense (5fp)

2. Guardian - A Guardian provides additional damage reduction with every attack.

Guardian 55 Attack 126 Defense (5fp)

3. Shadow - A Shadow provides a higher chance of evading an opponent’s attack.


Shadow 84 Attack 88 Defense (5fp)

Will forfeit this fight.

There are different types of offensive and defensive moves you can select from in Old Blood Combat.



You make use of your offensive, defensive and movement abilities, your familiars, your crew, and your weapons during a fight. You can also use Spells, which allow you to cast special attacks.

1. Attack
This is a basic attack that causes light damage.

2. Power Attack
This is a heavier attack and causes more damage.

3. Evade
This gives you a chance to avoid your opponent’s next attack.

4. Cast Spell
Spells can be purchased and used. Each spell can be used once. Each spell gives you an offensive, defensive or movement advantage.
Spells are of three types:

1. Offensive Spells - These boost the damage done an attack.
2. Defensive Spells - These boost your damage reduction.
3. Movement Spells - These boost your chances of evading an attack.

There are different levels of spells that can be purchased, depending upon the extent of the boost you require.







* Thunderous Might I * Offensive Causes light damage.
* Thunderous Might II * Offensive Causes moderate damage.
* Thunderous Might III * Offensive Causes heavy damage.
* Last Word I * Defensive Minor shield against special attacks.
* Last Word II * Defensive Moderate shield against special attacks.
* Last Word III * Defensive Major shield against special attacks.
* Presence of the Master I * Movement Causes high chance of Familiar attack.
* Presence of the Master II * Movement Causes higher chance of Familiar attack.
* Presence of the Master III * Movement Causes highest chance of Familiar attack.
* Open Wounds I * Offensive Causes repeated light damage.
* Open Wounds II * Offensive Causes repeated moderate damage.
* Open Wounds III * Offensive Causes repeated heavy damage.
* Lithe Lurker I * Offensive Causes a slight chance of evading attack.
* Lithe Lurker II * Offensive Causes a moderate chance of evading attack.
* Lithe Lurker III * Offensive Causes a high chance of evading attack.
* Blood Strife I * Defensive Increases damage marginally.
* Blood Strife II * Defensive Increases damage noticeably.
* Blood Strife III * Defensive Increases damage drastically.
* Aegis of Immortal I * Defensive Minor shield against incoming damage.
* Aegis of Immortal II * Defensive Moderate shield against incoming damage.
* Aegis of Immortal III * Defensive Major shield against incoming damage.
* Dragon Scales I * Defensive Causes minor rebound of incoming damage.
* Dragon Scales II * Defensive Causes moderate rebound of incoming damage.
* Dragon Scales III * Defensive Causes major rebound of incoming damage.
* Cannibalize I * Movement Causes minor recovery of Health Points.
* Cannibalize II * Movement Causes moderate recovery of Health Points.
* Cannibalize III * Movement Causes major recovery of Health Points.

These Spells are found in random Mission drops or can be purchased with Favor points.
You can win spells from Combat level up.



5. Heal
You can heal by restoring your Health Points through a payment of blood. This payment depends upon the extent to which you want to heal.
Health Points are a measure of your health in a fight. Depending upon your Health Points, you will be able to cast certain attacks.
6. Surrender
This will forfeit the fight for you.




 



Combat Mastery is a measure of your success in Old Blood Combat. You are given a Combat Mastery Level depending upon your Combat Experience. The more successful you are in your fights, the faster you will achieve a higher Combat Mastery level.
