* Selene's Midnight Sun * Offensive 145 58   (40 000 Old Blood)

With the Gods on your side, even the sun can be summoned at midnight. And we all know how well your vampiric foes will take to sunlight, don't we?

In Greek mythology, Selene was an archaic lunar deity and the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia. In Roman mythology, the moon goddess is called Luna, Latin for "moon". In post-Renaissance art, Selene is generally depicted as a beautiful woman with a pale face and long, lustrous, black hair; riding a silver chariot pulled by either a yoke of oxen, a pair of horses, or a pair of serpentine dragons. Often, she has been shown riding a horse or a bull, wearing robes with a moon on her head and carrying a torch.
