A new report claims that Zynga will be closing down four of its less popular Facebook games, including the collectible card game Warstorm, as well as Scramble, Pathwords, and Word Twist. All four games are expected to be shut down by the end of the month.
The news comes via fansite Mafia Wars Maniac, which cites a forum post by a Zynga moderator explaining that Warstorm and the three other games will be closed by September 30. In addition, the games are no longer accepting any new players and in-game purchases are no longer available.

I know this piece of information on which games that Zynga have decided to shutdown is unrelated to Vampire Wars.
But guess what? One day, Zynga might decide close down Vampire Wars when there no one willing to spend anymore money on it. Also, the amount of players playing Vampire Wars daily and monthly have continued to decline, see:
Vampire Wars App Stats on AllFacebook.

4 of Zynga games will be closed down on the 30th of September 2011.

Daily active users for the games which will be closed down:

Word Twist

Warstorm currently has just over 150,000 monthly active users, while Scramble has more than 210,000, Pathwords has 118,00, and Word Twist has just over 100,000. Those numbers put the three word games significantly behind the recently launched Facebook version of Words With Friends, which is closing in on 13 million MAU.
